Repulican candidates and their issues. . .

. . . and man, do they have issues.

Huckabee tries to gloss over Ark. record
AP - Wed Nov 28, 5:20 PM ET
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Mike Huckabee's presidential rivals are pointing to chinks in his record as Arkansas' governor — from ethics complaints to tax increases to illegal immigration and his support for releasing a rapist who was later convicted of killing a Missouri woman.

This is the front runner in Iowa. He believes that modern science is wrong. Volumes of evidence and tens of thousands of scientists doing usually impeccable work are completely wrong and leading humanity down a false path of information.
Mr. Huckabee believes that evolution on Earth is bogus and that the real way life came to be as it is today is because some Magic Sky Pixie plunked his magic twanger and it all suddenly appeared out of nothing.
Yes folks, he really does. Sadly, he is not alone among the republican contenders.

Giuliani dismisses claim about expenses
By LIZ SIDOTI, Associated Press Writer
Wed Nov 28, 10:48 PM ET

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Rudy Giuliani dismissed a report Wednesday that he expensed the cost of his security detail to obscure city offices for trips to a Long Island resort as the then-mayor began an extramarital affair with current wife Judith Nathan.

Ahhh yes, here's the other front runner and apparent darling of the GOP desperate masses. This is the guy they want to hang their "family values" hat on.
Now, we all know that to the right wing fundies "family values" is all about what people do with their genitalia. Family values is not about feeding the hungry, clothing those who are bare or giving shelter to those who are homeless. It's not about making sure all the children and mothers in our country have decent healthcare or all the fathers make a living wage when they go out to work. It's not about putting our education system on a solid foundation so that every school in America can deliver the information and knowledge that ALL young minds need to excel.
No, "family values" is about keeping the poor teenager living in the ghetto away from the abortion doctor. "Family values" is about restricting what a person can and can not do sexually in their free time. "Family values" is about keeping birth control out of the hands of highly sexually active teens. "Family values" is about adopting an elitist white middle America conservative attitude toward all these issues and using religious fundamentalism as their barometer.
So what's up with their love of Giulianni? I hope he does get the nomination. The firemen of NYC, who hate Giulianni with great passion (you know, the REAL heros of 9/11?), will make the swift boat campaign against Kerry look like a sunday school outing.

The thing I don't understand about the white males of the GOP is, why is it that immigration is their biggest issue? Do these white guys really feel that threatened by our brown brothers from the south? We all know that "immigration" is code for "Mexicans." I never hear them talk about those Canadians or securing the border to the north for "national security" reasons.
Hell, if I were a terrorist, I wouldn't come through San Diego. I'd pick someplace like Port Huron or Sault St. Marie. . . in January.

January 15th, 11PM, temp. -32°F, wind 45mph
Border guy at Sault St. Marie: "Nationality and destination"
Terrorist: "Iranian Islamic jihadists. We are going to America to bomb their infrastructure and cause mayhem and disaster.
Border guy at Sault St. Marie: "OK, now get the fuck outta here so I can close this fucking door."

Fuck these pricks and their family values and immigration bullshit. . . and fuck all the ignorant proles who will line up like pigs going to slaughter to vote for one of these low life bastards.

How can so many people be incapable of thinking?

Yeah, I'm a goof ball but I can think and form opinions.

I just don't understand how so many people can blindly follow what they're being told without questioning it.

Why does the word cult come to mind when I say that?

The current crop of Republicans is definitely a bit "underdone". It's fun watching the Fundies and others twist themselves into pretzels figuring out who to support and what sort of exuses to make about it.

As I was telling my father-in-liaw at Thanksgiving, the thing that worries me about Rudi is that he's the only candidate I can actually, truly see nuking somebody.

The thing that worries me about Guiliani is that the Bush Machine appears to be favoring him.

I'd rather have the Magic Sky Pixie-loving Huckabee over Guiliani, though I truly want neither one. Ever. Not even for a day.

If the choice was between the GOP candidate and a sea slug, I'm voting sea slug all the way. What this administration has done to the Constitution is unforgiveable.

I've been trying to promote my flock of turkeys for president. Since I've killed half of them in the past couple weeks, does that make me an assassin?

A.love authority and tend not to question it and
B. don't believe rules apply to them

Teddy, they have god on their side. They don't need the other rules. . . like the Constitution of the United States.
They also tend to be less educated.
