White House rejects regulating greenhouse gases
By DINA CAPPIELLO, Associated Press Writer Sat Jul 12, 1:26 AM ET
WASHINGTON - The Bush administration, dismissing the recommendations of its top experts, rejected regulating the greenhouse gases blamed for global warming Friday, saying it would cripple the U.S. economy.
If we remove the patient's foot, it will cure what ailes him, but if we do, it will cripple him. Let him die.
These republican corpo-fascists are simple minded pieces of shit, aren't they? Obviously they worship at the alter of profit, otherwise they would be willing to sacrifice profit for the good of our human environment. The must think that global warming is such a simple thing that their air conditioning will protect them no matter what.
I say that these corpo-fascsits and their corporate royalist masters need to be overthrown. Yes, OVERTHROWN. Nothing short of some sort of revolution will save us from these radical, extremist maniacs.

I think you're right. Obama will probably will become our next president. But we're going to need pushing from a lot of quarters to take our government back.
By the way, I wrote a piece about the Rev. Jessie Jackson and Obama that I think you'll like. Be well.
geez, you just wonder how so many stupid people came to have such power..makes me want to kick someone's ass..
In Japan a couple of days ago, the G8 leaders declared an aim to halve greenhouse gases by 2050 - a whopping 42 years from now. That statement was ridiculous, especially considering some of the non-credible leaders (Prez Bush and Canada's Prime Minister Harper, two guys who only recently said they believe there's a problem) who signed it. Now comes this story to emphasize what arseholes are at the helm in Washington.
This planet is in trouble, and not enough political leaders care.
Folks, The planet isn't in trouble. It'll survive and do quite well no matter what we happen to fuck up. It's humanity that will perish. It is the environment we depend upon for food, O2 and comfort that we are destroying. The planet will adapt and life on Earth will evolve to fit whatever comes, but humans will die.
I see you're getting progressively more pissed this month, Sagacious. It' mind-boggling how our worst fears of the past few years are upon us like a pack of rabid mutts. I am worried as shit.
Please come by my site again and read my current article. Your last post on the Constitution was partly the reason I wrote it. I think you'll enjoy it.
Kit, Hell, it would be hard for me to get much more pissed than I was 8 yrs ago when the corpo-fascists subverted our constitutional government and stole the election. But really, I've been fuming at injustice for most of my angry life.
I'll be by your place in a while.
