Ignorance on steroids; Creationists and Governors

Here's another reason why it's always dumber in Appalachia.
Will somebody please tell these people that they are living in the 21st Century.
Yes folks, this is the governor of one of the United States of America (granted, it is Kentucky) in the year 2010 in on this fiasco.

Beshear to announce creationist theme park for Kentucky
BY MARK HANSEL news.cincinnati.com
Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear [yes, he is a real governor of a real state in the United States of America] and Answers in Genesis, builders of the Creation Museum in Petersburg, will unveil plans for a new Northern Kentucky attraction Wednesday in Frankfort.

The theme park, to be called Ark Encounter, will be located in Grant County, Ky., near the Veteran’s Cemetery.

The attraction is envisioned as a full-scale wooden ark that would include associated museums, theaters, amenities, event venues and outdoor parking.

Dear Sagacious, Teddy Roosevelt was most assuredly not a prick.
1) Dined w/ booker T at the white house
2)nobel peace prize for making Japanese and Ruskies make peace
3) broke trusts
4) encouraged unions
5) was a friend and supporter of Jacob Riis
6) Cleaned up the NYPD
7) hired (as police commissioner) anybody competent to do the job
8) Thought up the idea of a National Park System
and a BUNCH of Other Stuff
really ...

tom, Teddy Roosevelt was an expansionist who cared nothing for the native population. He once wrote that he saw a "wild indian" while riding his horse somewhere in the Dakotas. They were quite far apart but Roosevelt said he took a number of shots at the man but regretfully missed his target.
Yea, nice guy.
