US Officials: Iran has nuke capability

WASHINGTON - Iran halted its nuclear weapons development program in the fall of 2003 under international pressure but is continuing to enrich uranium, which means it may still be able to develop a weapon between 2010 and 2015, senior intelligence officials said Monday.
Here we go again. Are they going to convince the proles and the ste pn fetch congress that Iran is an imminent threat?
So fucking what. Let em have nuke. They know that if they attack the USA or one of our allies they will be reduced to a glass parking lot in a matter of minutes. India and Pakistan have nukes. North Korea has nukes. Israel has nukes. What fucking difference does it make if Iran has nukes. Are we going to completely bankrupt our nation and everyone in it except for the mega rich who will get richer just to make sure some pitiful bunch of third world Islamic fundamentalist don't have nukes? Besides, SHOW US THE PROOF! It's always speculation and innuendo.
Folks, we have problems in this country. Our national debt is threatening to destroy us, we have gross poverty that is like a plaque on our land and shames us for as long as it continues, the boomer generation is retiring and we are quickly running out of funds to support them. In our diverse and multiracial society, racism invades almost every aspect of our culture. We've got our asses mired down in the middle east in a quagmire that is a monumental cluster fuck of historic proportions and is eating away at our national resources like a mad Langoliers.
Let's put down the sabers, collect our thoughts, quit worrying about hordes of brown people from the south and the mid east and solve the real problems that face us today.
