House easily passes compromise surveillance law
By PAMELA HESS, Associated Press Writer
WASHINGTON - The House Friday easily approved a compromise bill setting new electronic surveillance rules that effectively shield telecommunications companies from lawsuits arising from the government's terrorism-era warrantless eavesdropping on phone and computer lines in this country.
The dumbocrats in congress have once again taken it in the ass from the White House and the republicans. Ya gotta hand it to those corpo-fascist SOBs, they seem to be able to manipulate and control the democrats whether they are a majority or not. IT's amazing how they get what they want even though the Bushies have the absolute worse popularity rating of any administration since they began keeping track of such things. Fuck the Constitution of the United States, fuck individual freedom, fuck what the people want, if the corpo-fascists want it, the dumbocrats will give it to them.
We will never be free as long as the ignorant, the uneducated, the unthinking, the mindless and the dull witted continue to put these career politicians back into office.
