The Megan Williams torture case

Remember Megan Williams the black woman who was held hostage for a week and tortured in the worse physical ways down in Southern West Virginia as month or so ago? Her story is old news and we wouldn't be hearing much about it if it weren't for a group of folks led by one Mr. Malik Shabazz of the Black Lawyers for Justice Group who have decided to rally at the capital building because hate crime charges have yet to be brought againist the low life pieces of shit who held Miss Williams captive.

Observations on the passing scene

ONE of the leaders of the planned march this week in Charleston on behalf of rape victim Megan Williams has a history of inflammatory comments.

Malik Shabazz of the New Black Panther Party has been exposed numerous times in national reports for his racist and anti-Semitic remarks.

The Anti-Defamation League Web site contains several pages of incendiary comments and views by Shabazz.

Here's one comment from the "Black Holocaust Conference" in 1995:

"The Caucasians and the government are arrogant, telling us how to suffer.

America should be glad that every black man is not on a killing spree for all the suffering they have done."

First they tried to demonize Miss Willians by publishing every little minor encounter she ever had with the law (and believe me, the couple of items were VERY minor). Now they are taking apart the leader of the protestors who are tired of waiting weeks and mmonths for the Logan county prosecutors to press hate crime charges against these recreant animals. That is some really seriously fucked up shit.

Well, the white caucasian government is arrogant and it does try to tell minority victims how to heal (from the ills the white society gave them), how to fix their communities (that the white gov't created) and how to run every aspect of their lives. Their solutions never work.

And yes, it is lucky for us white people that Blacks, Native Americans and some of the old school Asians in this country are not as aggressive and hateful as we are. Otherwise they would be teariing this country apart along with giving us a taste of the genocide we perpetrated against them for hundreds of years. I am often amazed at the restraint and congeniality of minority people I know. I'd be a raging maniac and at this point in my life, probably dead if the history of my people was laced with the same type of things as their history.

My white brothers and sisters: live with it. Do something constructive about it. Demonizing those who speak the truth, no matter how badly it shakes your foundation does nothing but perpetrate more of the same old racist bullshit.
I hope to see some white faces in the crowd when they rally at the capital.

Amen! I appreciate your comments. I hope that your blog readers take it to heart. I've shared my thoughts on the National March as well as the strength of Megan Williams on my blog.

I appreciate you standing up for those that want to do the right thing.

I don't trust anyone named Shabazz. It makes me think of Kazaam.

That's the truth. I am wondering how things went at the Capitol today. Off to find news.

Thank you for your honest comments. African American people want recognition of our history. It gets swept under the rug so much and we carry those scars. Your comments are noted!
