Serious political scandals

Palin wants Stevens to address probe AP - Fri Sep 21, 6:38 PM ET
JUNEAU, Alaska - Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin said Friday she wants some answers from U.S. Sen. Ted Stevens, a fellow Republican, who is under federal investigation.

OK, I know what you're thinking. You're thinking that the SagaciousHb is going to go on a rant about what a crooked SOB and receant bastard this republican Senator Stevens is. . . right? You know you want me to. You'd like to see me slay and fillet this little right wing guzano.
Well, I aint gonna do it. It appears to me that the hoopla surrounding these charges are about him taking some materials and free labor from one of his friends who is also a supporter and also might have benefited from legislation he was involved in. Is that about it? Big fucking deal. Yup, that's right. . . big fucking deal.
This guy has been in the senate for decades and the worse thing he's done is take some free labor and enough material to redo a bathroom in his house?! WTF?
We've got a presidential administration that is waging war to please their corporate royalist bosses and we're worried about some senator letting a personal friend remodel his house for free?! Fuck this shit. It's nothing. Nada. Of no consequence.
Get the corporate fascists out of the national treasury. Quit using my tax dollars to promote the religious fundamentalist's agenda. Quit sending young American soldiers off to the MidEast to have them come back by the tens of thousands either in boxes or severely maimed.
Oh, and fuck you people who will let yourselves become distracted by such partisan tripe while the Constitutiion of the United States is shredded.

To all you national and local politicians. . .
I don't care what you do in your personal life. You can suck anonymous cocks in public restrooms, have your house remodeled by your constituency, fuck your baby sitter for all I care, but just do right by the voters of this country. Make it a government of the people, by the people and for the people. Always serve the common good. Do that, and as far as I'm concerned, like we say out here on the creek and in the barnyard, 'I got your back.'
