Palin says Obama 'palling around' with terrorists

By JIM KUHNHENN, Associated Press Writer

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. - Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin on Saturday accused Democrat Barack Obama of "palling around with terrorists" because of an old association with a former '60s radical, stepping up an effort to portray Obama as unacceptable to American voters.

Palin's reference was to Bill Ayers, one of the founders of the group the Weather Underground. Its members took credit for bombings, including nonfatal explosions at the Pentagon and U.S. Capitol, during the Vietnam War era. Obama, who was a child when the group was active, served on a charity board with Ayers several years ago and has denounced his radical views and activities. . .

Palin told a group of donors at a private airport, "Our opponent ... is someone who sees America, it seems, as being so imperfect, imperfect enough, that he's palling around with terrorists who would target their own country." She also said, "This is not a man who sees America as you see America and as I see America."

You're damned right we don't see the world and our country the same way you do you little fucked up sophomoric dunderheaded dip shit. We see this country for what it could be. We see this country as a place where all people regardless of their race, ethnicity, class, color or religion could thrive and prosper. We see this country as an influence of good throughout the world not a perpetrator of evil. We see a land of diverse beauty and likewise a beautiful blend of people who inhabit that land, not a set of resources to be exploited and a bland white washed landscape. We envision a country where every child is fed, everyone has a job and everyone has healthcare, not a country where corporations work to gather as much of the wealth as possible at the expense of everyone else. We see these things and say "why not?"
What DO you see Sarah Palin and who exactly are YOU palling around with?
[insert really nasty string of descriptive expletives here] Sarah Palin.

The New York Times put the Ayers thing into perspective:
"... [T]he two men do not appear to have been close. Nor has Mr. Obama ever expressed sympathy for the radical views and actions of Mr. Ayers ..."
I understand the freakin' Moonie Times of Washington couldn't find anything damning about the Obama-Ayers 'relationship.' If those fuckers couldn't dig up any real dirt, what does that say about the Repub attacks?

Sarah Palin has NO CLUE about the undercurrents that existed in the 60-70's. The puppet is spouting off her rehearsed lines as usual. For as much as I want to smash her face, I will be like Obama and take the high road...and it is killing me!

That's is SO true Mom. You put your finger on what was really bothering me about this whole affair. To treat Bill Ayers as if he were in the same league as Osama Bin Laden or other Islamic terrorist who absolutely hate America is just simply wrong. In their own twisted way, the underground of the 60s were acting as patriots. They believed in America and the potential of this nation. They were fighting FOR the liberty and freedom that America always should have represented.
Yes, Vice Bitch has no fucking clue about "the undercurrents that existed" or the whys and whats of what was going on. Hell, this little snotty punk has no clue about the Constitution of the United States. I'd love to get the chance the ask her 10 simple questions about US history and gov't. I'd take them right out of a Jr. Hi. civics book. I'll bet she couldn't answer 2 of them.
Yea, she's a typical all Amurkkin soccer mom. Is that what we want running the country?
Wake up proles.

You know: when I think of her, I think of Tami Wynette singing, "Stand by Your Man" (as in warmonger McCain), the National Enquirer magazine and an unshaven guy in a cowboy hat riding a horse and smoking Camel cigarettes...

It's like she's something out of the late 50's.

"an unshaven guy in a cowboy hat riding a horse"
Daddy, we need to talk here. I'm often unshaven, in a cowboy hat and riding a horse. . . a big white horse. . . I call her "Spot."

But yea, she's a throw back, but then again, that's the whole persona of the corpo-fascist ministry of propaganda. . . taking you back to a time when men were men and women were. . . well, oppressed Stepford wives.
