The Big Payoff

From the UK Guardian. . . today. . .

"The biggest ever sale of oil assets will take place today, when the Iraqi government puts 40bn barrels of recoverable reserves up for offer in London.

BP, Shell and ExxonMobil are all expected to attend a meeting at the Park Lane Hotel in Mayfair with the Iraqi oil minister, Hussein al-Shahristani.

Access is being given to eight fields, representing about 40% of the Middle Eastern nation's reserves, at a time when the country remains under occupation by US and British forces."

It has been a good month so far for the corporate royalist. Last week they got a $700Billion final infusion of cash that the national treasury didn't have. Today they get to bid on the biggest known petroleum reserve in the world.
This is the big one they've been waiting for since their MoronMonkeyBoy Bush the Puppet took office. It's the culmination of 8 years of raping and pillaging not just the national treasury of the United States, but other countries. They left the Iraqis defeated and devastated. The Chinese simply got to buy our children's future.
The corporate royalist got the cash.
To all you stupid fuck moron proles who voted for the corporate royalists via MoronMonkeyBoy Bush the Chimp. . . fuck you. You're an ignorant SOB.

How sad. We've utterly destroyed their infrastructure, poisoned their rivers and water supply with depleted uranium, left dead 1.2 million innocent citizens, and I'll bet the oil "we" are buying is for a pittance of it's value. All of this after raping Americans and their kids of their economic future.

Makes me pray a little harder that there's a hell for those were so cruel.

I'll more than likely vote for Obama (damn sure won't vote for McCain), but I don't think he'll hold those responsible for these crimes against We The People or humanity. Tragic.

Kit, sadly, we've utterly destroyed OUR infrastructure, poisoned our rivers, etc.
Every single bridge I go across these days is rusted and not looking very good. Around here, ya cross a lot of bridges. The roads are a mess and public buildings are looking shabby. Our regulatory agencies like USDA are too busy handing out give-aways to corporate interests to police the corporate interest, the FAA is a mess and the FCC has become the censorship arm of the right wing.
I DO believe that Barack Obama can make a difference. Who else could? We've gotta have faith and hold his feet to the fire when he takes office.
